I've had mixed results with eating at thie BJ's Brewhouse. I love the pizza, sandwiches and lunch specials, but every time I get the roasted chicken, it's undercooked. Once i had to send my undercooked chicken back twice, and finally the manager came over to offer me the option of a different meal because his "cooks can't get it right today." I was disappointed because this happens to be one of the healthiest things on the menu, but the manager was friendly and helpful in offering healthy alternative meal options. Overall service here has been decent, and the seasonal beer selections have been fantastic. I love the atmosphere and large menu, and the location is very convenient. I will be back, but I won't order the chicken again.

The food is amazing- when they get it right. The service is awful and the staff quite rude. Don't go if you're in a hurry or if you're really particular.

Great place for wide variety of good eats. The deep dish pizza is great the pork sandwich is very tasty and the hamburger is better then Red Robin. If your at Citrus park mall and need some fuel this is your place!

I ate at BJ's on a Tuesday night around 9pm and the restaurant was nearly empty. I guess this location is kinda out of the way. I've lived in Tampa for nearly four years, and this was my first time to Citrus Park Mall. I think BJ's would be much more popular if it was at International Plaza or even the Westfield in Brandon. A colleague recommended the pizzas, so I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. When our server brought my pizza, I could almost hear my arteries moaning. The buffalo chicken pizza may be one of the most unhealthy foods on the menu--but WOW it was good! BJ's is famous for their beer and their pizookies. I don't drink, but I did try a pizookie--an amazing dessert involving a giant chewy cookie topped with exorbitant amounts of ice cream topped with chocolates and sugary syrups. This is a fantastic way to follow an ultra unhealthy meal, right? This place can make Five Guys look like Subway. The bottom line: if you want to get drunk and pump yourself full of trans fats, then BJ's should be #1 on your list. Personally, I will only return if doctors discover preventative medicines for heart disease.

Been here a couple of times. The food is decent. A burger was nothing special. Pulled pork was reasonably good. I had a glass of good stout, probably better than anything else at my table. The service was good and the manager was circulating, keeping his eye on things, asking patrons how they were doing. It's in a mall, so don't look for artisinal food. Be happy they have something better than Bud Lite to drink.

Last night my wife and I went to BJ's to try their new Asian menu. We've been to BJ's many times before. This time it was not very good. We ordered two glasses of wine. I thought that the wine was a dollar or two more than any other local restaurant for the same brands. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and I ordered the Terriyaki Shrimp. My wife said that her meal was OK. I had to send mine back. The dish was loaded with pepper. Terriyaki is not a peppery dish. I then ordered Chicken Marsala. It was just passable. I will say when I had a problem with my meal the waiter acted to correct the situation immediately. The manager picked up the bad meal and appoligized. I think that BJ's is probably best for burgers and pizza.

Finally a great deep dish, Chicago style pizza establishment in Tampa! No more cravings for UNO Pizza in Orlando! (although nothing beats their deep dish!) My wife and I decided to eat at BJ's at Citrus Park Mall for lunch. We were greeted at the door with a friendly welcome and smile. We were promptly seated by the hostess, and shortly thereafter Maria introduced herself as our server, again with a friendly smile, and took our drink order, which arrived very quickly. We mentioned to her that this was our first time eating here, so she took the time to explain the different menu options, and with the many questions we had, she was VERY patient with us. She gave us plenty of time time to review the menu, and checked with us occasionally to see if we were ready to order or had any questions. Not once did we feel rushed, or forgotten about. We decided on the BJ's Favorite deep dish pizza. Our pizza arrived very quickly, less than 20 minutes, all the while our drinks were continually topped off. The pizza was thick, hot and tasty! If there was one down side to the pizza, it was a bit dry. There seemed to be a lack of tomato sauce, but the sweet crust and other flavorful toppings were great. Maria continued to top off our drinks and took away any trash/dirty plates and was very friendly. We could not have asked for a better server, props to her!!! The atmoshere was very good, clean and inviting. Several big flat screen TVs were placed throughout the establishment, all showing a different variety of sports, not to mention the huge 4 screen TV behind the bar. The restrooms were elegantly clean and tidy. I look forward to my next visit so I can explore the other menu options, like the pizookie and their own home brew! We will ask for Maria to be our server next time as she was exceptionally wonderful and friendly, and hopefully BJ's will step it up on the tomato sauce!! Still giving this 5 stars as it was an almost perfect dining experience!!!!

I went to BJ's for the first time tonight and I must say that I was absolutely impressed with everything they had to offer. Their menu was very extensive and detailed; there is something for anybody there. I had the grilled chicken pasta, which was absolutely delicious. Not only is BJ's a restaurant, but it is also a brewhouse. They have many of their own beers there which is great for those who like to venture into different craft beers every once in a while. I'll definitely be going back. I highly recommend BJ's - great staff, great menu, and great beers. What's not to love about that?

So this is a place that normally I would not go. Not that I am a snob. Alright, maybe I am but I have come here a few times over the last year and it is not bad. I seriously hope AA does not consider this place for a meeting because they push booze so much, you are left speechless. the first half of the menu is booze. Passive aggression and desserts called bizookies which are like pumped up cookies are served constantly by the staff. Hostess: " You don't mind if I seat you here right?" So, thankfully the wait staff is more than patient with the huge menu. Food here is alright. Some dishes with rice don't look great but the steak salad, the long pizzas and the sandwiches are fine for a mall. You could do worse than at BJ's. Amazing that I just wrote that.

First and foremost, I have to compliment BJs for having purse hooks under the bar...love this! Every bar should have purse hooks. Thank you BJs, thank you for being thoughtful enough to have purse hooks. A truly considerate gesture. Hooray for the purse hook! We always sit at the bar, not only for the purse hooks, but also for their great bartenders. Dara and Chad are definitely the best: great customer service, attentive, knowledgeable and funny...they could probably teach a class on what it means to be a good bartender. As for the food, it is yummy. My favorites are the artichoke dip, angus burger sliders, California club flatbread (love the garlic aioli), bacon cheeseburger pizza (so good with the pickles and special sauce) , cuban burger, fish tacos (crunchy, breaded fish and the oh so good avocado cream), and the delicious chicken-fried steak. I'm also really enjoying the new items; they are a nice addition to their tasty menu. Love the fried artichokes! Also like the stuffed mushrooms and gourmet mac-n-cheese. Mac-n-cheese with bacon, chipotle, and garlic, baked with a crispy breadcrumb top...oh, yeah! Highly recommend.

If you have been to DC and sat down in any of the Great American Restaurant establishments you have seen an upgraded version of BJ's. Sat for about 25min waiting for them to find space for seven inside. Seemed a bit odd. Restaurant wasn't packed - in fact, they actually had an empty section, and we ended up seated there after the initial wait. I can understand the hostess not pulling the trigger on that kind of decision if the manager was on break. But, the manager was part of our introduction when we first arrived. Tough way to start things off. Service was good. Fried calamari was cooked nicely and still very tender. Avocado rolls came with their own "stones" or pieces of inedible pit. Yikes. Not so good. The California burger sounded great on the menu: toasted sourdough bread, avocado, roasted green chilies, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayonnaise and ranch dressing. Sure it will blow out an artery if you're not careful, but man it was delicious in my imagination. On the plate - not so strong. Something was missing. I tried adding a slice of tomato, but still no dice. Mediterranean pizza was a big hit and the potstickers seemed to be a happy choice along with the Caprese salad. The bazooki was crazy, warm baked cookie topped with ice cream. All in all - not bad, but nothing for the other big chain restaurants (or big box stores) to worry about. .

Food was grossly underwhelming but the house made sodas were to die for!!! I am a non-alcoholic /caffeine free consumer so I have defaulted into the realm of being a Root Beer lover. The root beer here really ticklied my fancy and the service was outstanding! I would recommend everyone to stop by at least one time!

I often eat at the bar for lunch. There is a good selection of micro brews. My choice is the american brown ale Nutty Brunette. The appetizers are good and go well with their beers. The avocado egg rolls are flavorful and my favorite there. If you need a lighter dish after beer and appetizers, try the The Angel Hair Toscana pasta. I get it with with grilled chicken.

I think this is a very nice restaurant and brewery. They have a great 7 beer taster set for about $10. You get pretty large "samples" of their seven main beers. It's a great way to discover what you like, and since they aren't tiny little tasters, you can let multiple people try them out to see who likes what before ordering themselves a beer. Their chips and salsa are yummy. The salsa is just spicy enough without going overboard, and the tri colored chips really entertain the little kids that I've gone there with. I've had a few different entrees there, and all were yummy. I usually can't eat the entire place of food because there's simply too much. The Parmesan encrusted chicken is delicious, especially with the cheesy mashed potatoes that come with it. The Hamburger sliders are yummy and make for a good lunch. The menu is large, and everything always sounds so good. I'd say the only problem with BJ's is that you have to choose one thing to eat...and it's difficult. The desserts are amazing! They have these things called Pazooki's (I think that's how it's spelled) they are 5-6 inch cookies in a little pan with two scoops of ice cream on top. They have 4 different cookies I believe (choc. chip, macadamia nut, Oatmeal raisin, and choc. choc chip I think) They also have an oreo version. They donate part of the proceeds to a children's foundation as well. I've had the oatmeal cookie one which was very good, but I'm more in love with the brownie! They also have BJ's Brownie...it's a gooey brownie in a pan with three scoops of ice cream, whipped topping, chocolate sauce, and cherries on top. Delicious!

The good: it looks pretty, there's a bar, some tvs. The 2 stars b/c: The food isn't special, definitely not worth the prices. I'm not a fan of Cheesecake Factory aside of the obvious, but this was to me a poor man's CF. I do believe there is a microbrewery, but I haven't tried any of their brews.

Great atmosphere. Had the shrimp tacos; they were AWESOME. Fast service. Loud enough to have a conversation that can't be heard but not too loud where you can't hear each other; this makes it great for kids!

The server was great and the place was nicely decorated and that's about the high point of my dinner at this place. My table ordered the spinach artichoke dip for appet., I've had much better. The dip was kind of watery, can't really taste the spinach or artichoke, even though both were in the sauce. For this dish, if the dip is bad it's pretty much downhill. I ordered salmon, with rice pilaf and steamed vegetables. The entree also came with a side salad, I had the house with raspberry vinaigrette. Side salad: Flavor of the dressing wasn't really there. It's raspberry, suppose to be a little sweet, I couldn't taste it. It was mostly sour and water down. The water down taste probably came from the lettuce itself. It tasted like they just washed it and didn't dry it so lot of water was still in the salad. Salmon with rice pilaf and steamed vegetables: The salmon was grilled nicely but was very bland. The "steamed vegetables" should've been called raw vegetables on the side. It wasn't cooked all the way. It had zucchini, cauliflower and broccoli. All 3 were undercooked. For the zucchini I wasn't able to eat the whole thing, only ate the middle and left rest because it was so hard. Cauliflower and broccoli made me felt like I was eating a salad again. The rice was probably the best thing on my plate. I also ordered iced tea. I had it sweet first, but it was way too sweet, felt like I was drinking sugar water. The server was very nice and switched it for me to unsweet, which wasn't much better but at least I wasn't going on a sugar high. I might come back here again after a long long long time, at least long enough for me to forget this time. So enter at your own risk and good luck.

Seriously my favorite place in the whole state of Florida. Great pizzas, entrees, apps, beers, and insanely good desserts!!! Pizookies and a menu as big as cheesecake factory without the big prices.

the atmosphere is nice.. and our server was good..and the food runners were pleasant.... they got us what we wanted...and checked up on us ever so often.. it's an American cuisine place.. not new American..not fusion. just plain-o American..so all the flavoring are going to be basic stuff.. meaning nothing unique we had the california club flatbread appetizer .. which was good, but a little expensive for just flatbread..and minimal toppings.. (yeah i think the cook kind of went skimpy on this one).. i ordered the burger melt w/ the crispy thin fries.. it was just a plain-o patty melt with two types of cheese and onions.. along with what i think is 1000 island.. my sister ordered the chardonnay shrimp pasta.. which was good..but the sauce could have been a bit thicker..and it would have been perfect the TV's seems to always been on some sports channel.. so if you want your sports..you can always kick it here and have some draft beers.. i'll probably go here again..if i just want some typical American food.. sometimes it's just nice to have some simple American food in a simple casual atmosphere.

Just like I said in my previous post from last September, I made my once/twice a year visit to this BJ's at the suggestion of the same great friends who like to meet there. While the service here remains extremely good (We all love Annie behind the bar), the food that I took home was a major disappointment. My ravioli was just sloppy and did not include the garlic bread that is clearly listed with this item on the menu. Also, the Santa Fe salad was also disappointing and did not come with the dressing on the side which is almost always the case when I order salads for take-out virtually anywhere else. Considering both entrees run near $15 a piece, the kitchen could at least make them worthwhile and not create that "Oh, no" moment when opening the bags at home and preparing for what was supposed to be a nice dinner. In my opinion, BJ's continues to waste great employees like Annie and others as well as a nice TV wall with their refusal to air audio of sporting events in the bar area. That's why I'm only in here once/twice a year and usually go to Show Me's or Smokey Bones when drinking or dining in this area.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the HH Specials!!! We sat out in the indoor patio area w/our kids and enjoyed some people watching. Area was big enough to accommodate our double stroller. Food - Got the calamari - delicious. Look over cooked but was good. Better overcooked than under, right? Also got potato skins which were crispy and full of filling. Guinness was good - a bit pricey but hey at the mall. I am IN!

Let's start by saying this was not necessarily the worst experience I've had, but it was disappointing enough that I will never go back. Waiter - He seemed like a newbie. He didn't make or break our experience. Drinks - Beer was good (Pirhana?), Margarita tasted like a Jose Cuervo bottled mix - no bueno. Food - Our appetizer was the Thai Shrimp Lettuce Wraps. Too much of the wrong flavors - just didn't work. I ordered the New Orleans Jambalaya. Sausage was overcooked, chicken was chewy, rice was soggy. Fiancée ordered the Shrimp Scampi. It was okay if you like jarred garlic, twice frozen shrimp, and too much pasta on your plate. Service/Cleanliness - Noticed residue on the silverware immediately upon sitting down. My fiancée got a glass of water after her margarita and it had once-powdered, crusted dishwasher residue chunks on the glass. All. Over. The. Glass. Appetizer was brought out with the entree with no rhyme or reason. Service was very slow. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Altogether I probably could have had a better dining experience at TGIFridays - and let's just face it, that's sad.

Food is always decent but service is sketch and management is not with it. First off, the web.com tour is on when the John Deer Classic is playing. If you're not a golfer or care, that's fine, but a sports bar should have the correct tournament playing. No one wants to watch the B team play when the A team is playing. Second, no refills the entire time on drinks and when I ordered a medium rare Cheeseburger I got a burger that was burnt to hell. Third, I asked for a side of chipotle aioli when my food was delivered (which I asked for when ordering) and the woman rolled her eyes at me and had zero customer service when delivering it. Failing grade. Not coming back to this place. Ten Robin next door has a new customer as well as the food court. Terrible.

Started with Jean, Came in 2nd time to give them another try from last visit, was given complementary discount. They didn't have the beer I really wanted and was looking forward to so had to get a tea, very disappointed, the burger came out was real good. Just not having beer ruined my enthusiasm to come back. Service was mediocre with Jean. Then got switched to new waitress she was much better very noticing and quick. One more thing to note there was constant flies around our table throughout dinner. My friend meal was totally different than she got it the other time. Overall good burger

Stopped by there on our way to the movies for a bite and drinks and we really liked it. They seem to have a nice selection of their "own" beers and I got to try 2 different IPA's and they all tasted good. My wife had wine after tasted a couple different options and the bartender was super nice to let her try it until she found the one. We had a flatbread app and it was good too. I plan to come back at some point to try more things but the overall experience was great.

Terrible service. Anne the manager is as rude as they come! We ordered a steak and it came out 45 minutes late. Over cooked and Disgusting! Don't waste your money or your time, this place has HORRIBLE customer service and BAD MANAGEMENT. Do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE for your next meal!!!

They have a vast selection of beers on draft. They staff is knowledgable and courteous. There are smaller food items to nibble on and then for the seriously hungry person there are 'entrees' that will definitely give you leftovers for the next day (or later that night). You CANNOT leave Without atleast trying the pizookies. If Desserts are your thing then that's reason alone to check them out. They have an awesome happy hour too had 2 FULL glasses of wine for $6. Can't beat that price!

Food was excellent. I ordered the portobello Swiss burger and it was amazing. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Drinks were also very good. One of the best Long Islands I've had as well. Only bad part was it took nearly 10 minutes after being seated for or server to come over and the hostess never brought us appetizer plates or silverware. Overall was a great dining experience. I highly recommend the burger and long islands.

Meh. This place is conveniently located next to a lot of stores. There's nothing special about the food, but the beer selection is nice.

Eaten there 4 times now. Cajun pasta has been great and another time bland. Servers are alway friendly. Gets a little loud at night but a great place to watch a game. Ravoli is good, linguini is a little bland for us. We are use to food that has some spice to it, which is hard to find around Tampa. Love their spicy pig tavern pizza!

  • Meagan F.

Great beer, good food that always tastes fresh, the staff is always nice and knowledgable about the beer. I appreciate that because I am a beer lover and sometimes I need to know specific things about what I'm going to drink so when I have questions they always answer. We've never had a bad experience, albeit one time the avocados in my egg rolls weren't ripe, but hey...they weren't in season. The staff was cool about that and took it away. We frequent BJs at this location often. Oh and the bartenders are good too!

    (4)
  • Alex A.

Pretty consistent, avocado eggrolls are great so are the brussel sprouts for appetizers, for food the flatbreads are good. sometimes you just gotta know what to order. also we rarely have to wait long to be seated even on busy days so I like that too service is good. What can I say, for a franchise its a good place.

Did a to-go order. Had the pulled pork sandwich with bbq ranch sauce, onion strings and skinny fries. The portions were generous, and overall, the food was tasty and satisfying. Ironically, though, I did not care for their "world famous" coleslaw.

I've been to this location a couple of times and each time walk away with an average view. On my most recent visit I decided to take my parents and nieces out for meal and given there were 2 children, their palates dictated the type of cuisine we chose and hence we ended up here. The wait was pretty fast and we were seated at a very large booth. The one thing I did like is that there are flat screen TV's everywhere and given that it was college football Saturday, it was great to be able to see a couple games and catch the highlights during the 2 hours we spent here. That sums up my experience. A very regular meal ended up being a 2 hour affair. The drink orders went in rather quickly and we had a server who advised she was in training so at first it was almost great having 2 people watching over our table as there was a mentor type person with her. Once we placed our orders, however, we had a new server who must have been overloaded as he was pretty scarce after taking our orders. I was also left without a beverage and never got refill during the entire meal. As far as food goes, we had a few sharers at our table who split a pizza that looked pretty good. I had the jambalaya, which was overall pretty decent for a chain restaurant. We did indulge in a pizookie, which is their version of a chocolate chip cookie made in a small pizza pan topped with ice cream. That was probably the highlight of the entire experience.

Fantastic restaurant inside of the Citrus Park Mall main entrance off Citrus Park Drive. So convenient for lunch, happy hour with the friends (their happy hour deals ROCK during the week), and dinner/dessert before or after the movies and shopping. I love the service - every single time we have efficient and happy servers and bartenders. The menu is so diverse - the selections can make any family of 4 or 6 or 8 (and beyond) happy! The kitchen puts out excellent flavors EVERY SINGLE VISIT! I love that we can always count on having a GREAT meal - no matter the time of day. Management is very visible and helpful with staff (we witness the interaction) and visible with guests also.

My go to place for parm crusted chicken. THE best. the plate is big. I usually only finish half. Always clean and staff is very friendly. I love their drink menu! They have wines, beers, and cocktails! The nachos used to be delish but now skimp on the cheese.

Like many people, I came in for a quick drink and appetizer with a friend. I wanted my usual avocado egg rolls, but found that they were included in a new appetizer combo with other yummy sounding things like egg rolls and mozzarella sticks and such, so we went for that. It's now become my newest calorie laden go-to at BJ's. On the second visit, we got that plus a pizza that was pretty good on its own, and upon reheating the leftovers the next day, the crust was even better than before.

The service brings me back every time! First rule: sit at the bar. Second rule: know the specials. If you are lucky enough to sit at the bar and have Billie as your bartender, consider yourself blessed. She is always on it with the customer service and in the 40-some times I've been I have never been let down with my experience.

I visited last month while in town for vacation. We had come from seeing a movie in the same mall. Pretty big menu which makes it a little hard to decide. The food was really good. I had a steak. I remember my strawberry mojitos were excellent. It took a while for the food to come, but steaks take awhile to cook. Definitely a place I would come back to.

I like this location and I like BJ's a lot. Now you ask well if you liked it so much why not 5 stars, well i`ll explain why... The few times i`ve eaten there I was shopping in Citrus Park Mall as well so typically I had a meal by myself because honestly I don`t like mall food that much. But the few times i`ve gone I was always been forgotten about. I was always on a hunt to search for my server for something whether it was a drink refill or napkin or something. I don`t know if it was where I sat or if it was because I was by myself but it was something I definitely did not appreciate. Food=5 Service=2

We just left this location. Service and food PHENOMENAL! Our server was Shawn L. If there was a cloning machine available I would insist they clone him. He went above and beyond, made sure we had everything we needed. We had our small autistic son with us and he kept repeating over and over that he wanted to watch soccer on Fox Sports. Shawn quickly had the TV in our view changed to that channel and had our son's pizza out first so he could start eating and would be content. Our son spilled his milk all over the floor and Shawn was back in a flash with towels. We enjoyed our experience very much!

The food was good but the absolutely HORRIBLE service that we got ruined the whole experience. Heed the advice of the post before mine (of the bad service) & don't even waste your time. The restaurant wasn't even busy & the service sucked. As we sat and sat and sat and sat until we were finally approached by a waiter; however, while we waited, we observed approximately 10-15 waiters and waitresses standing around doing nothing but gossiping and talking. It honestly felt like we were in a high school cafeteria. Our waiter didn't know anything about the menu, nor did the server who brought out our food. When we asked him a simple question in his reply to "is there anything else I can do for you?" He looked at me as if I grew a third eyeball. If you say that to a customer, expect a response or question! I assume he didn't, so when I actually had a question about the menu & when he couldn't answer my question (bc I guess he doesn't know the menu well enough), he answered it with an "I don't know." When he should have asked a manager, asked another waiter, looked at a menu...something!!!!! The service just sucked period. From start to finish. Pizza and apps were good, so you can chance it if you want but we won't be back.

Let me start off by saying I signed up to yelp just to write this review and looking forward to leaving more in the future. I went after a Yankees spring training game around 10pm on a Thursday night, not many choices at this time so my girlfriend suggested bjs (mind out of the gutter please lol) I got one of the new tavern pizzas, and asked for the beer on the advertisement card. Luckily my waiter knew his beers and warned me about the strong flavor that one had and asked if I was into that kind of beer. I had no idea and just wanted to try something new. He brought a few samples and let me say, that probably saved the meal. Wish I knew his name to post here, but awesome guy! Both pizzas were great, drinks were great and the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was amazing and I'm not even a desert person. Highly recommended!

Was not impressed with my food at all. We went for some appetizers and I ordered the avocado wraps and corn fritters. The waitress recommended the corn fritters so decided id give it a try. They were horrible. Very bland no taste. Figured you cant go wrong with avocado but I was def wrong lol. Once again very bland. Ive been here b4 and ordered pizza which was good but bad experience with these appetizers. The beer saved it from 2 to 3 stars. Great selection!

This is a great place to go to watch a ball game, have a cold beer and munch on appetizers with the family or the guys. Not my #1 place to go, but they have real good food, servers are always on the money and the amount of TV's they have is second to none. I also go to this place every Father's Day to get the collectible glass (i have one for each year since 2008). I recently took my grandson and future son-in-law there and we had a good time watching the Ray's game, eating and then having the well-known Pizookie (oreo is the best). I would definitely suggest this to anyone that's a beer drinker, likes sports or a foodie.

This was my first visit to the citrus park BJs location. The experience had a few ups and a few downs so I'll settle at an average of 3 overall. I called in to reserve a table when I was on my way as I figured they'd be busy on a Friday night at 7 pm. But when we arrived there was only a 5 minute wait since we called ahead. Our server greeted us right away and provided excellent service throughout the whole meal. For drinks, I started off with the orange twist mocktail. I really like that they have a nice section of alcohol free drinks (4 different mocktail flavors in total) in addition to their full bar and impressive beer choices. My friend and I took our sweet time deciding what to get as we were chatting a bit and the menu is quite extensive, which doesn't make for an easy decision. Since I couldn't decide on "just" one thing I opted for the tomato and mozzarella small salad to start followed by the corn fritters and gourmet mac n cheese. The salad was 2 thumbs up, fresh, excellent flavor and nice presentation. The mac and the corn fritters came out next. I've had the mac before but it seems as if they've changed it now. It was decent overall but nothing out of this world or "gourmet". The description of the corn fritters on the menu "served with jalapeño, bacon bits and spicy aioli sauce" makes it sound better than it actually was. They were overly fried and not all that flavorful. The guilt of eating a fried starch was not worth it In this case. Finished off the evening with a mini white chocolate macadamia pzookie. OMG. Perhaps I'm the only one who had never experienced that deliciousness before, but wow was It good! And the mini was just the right size. Overall Overall I enjoyed it enough that I would return again but perhaps try something else like a pizza or entrée.

My in laws were in town and have liked BJ's in Arizona, so we tried it out last night to fit into our Sunday evening restaurant trials. I had chili breadbowl with caesar salad. It was very good, the breadbowl was uniquely toasted. I tried an 8-beer taste test flight. It was ok, I don't typically like all the different beers at brewpubs so I just do a trial to sample it. I was happy with that. We did the caramel pizookie for desert, that was pretty good as well. I'd stop back and try a burger next time.

Generally a solid choice for a beer and quick bite when shopping. Service however can be hit or miss. Sitting at the bar, is the best chance of getting great service, seems to be less turnover of bartenders than waitstaff. Burgers are always good and the medium is always still juicy.

Wife and I have been hmming and hawing about trying out this restaurant for quite some time now. Most places that have a huge menu selection usually only make avergae meals at best. BJ's is the exception instead of the norm. We started off with a pepperoni pizza dip and it was amazing. a plethora of cheeses and Marinara suace topped with small cubes of pepperoni and serves with small thin slices of garlic toast. The wife had parmesan crusted chicken that was so thin, tender, and definately crusty cheesy. I had the lasagna that was actually oversized raviolis filled with numerous cheeses and covered in a sauce and mozzarella cheese. Delicious. Now even after all of these great treats the dessert was the pinnacle of the meal. Salted caramel Pizzookie. Now a pizzookie is a 6' round deep dish pizza pan that they add cookie dough to the bottom of the pan then run it through the pizza oven, once on the other side, vanilla ice cream is added then toffee pieces, then caramel and chocolate sauce is drizzled over a shot of whipped cream. A perfect end to the meal. I washed all this down with thier made in house root beer that had hints of sasparilla and birch. Very refreshing and a great taste. Our Sever, James was very professional and very friendly, we will definately go back and ask for his table again. Now as for the atmosphere, its a sports bar environment so expect high levels of noise. The hard floors and shape of the dining area promote echoing and amplification of conversations but if you are a foodie, then the food always takes priority. This is worth a stop for sure.

I like the mall patio. Sitting outside of the restaurant but still inside the mall. The food is pretty good. Great option for mall dining. I like stopping by for lunch because the meals are priced lower. This visit there was no wait, food came out quickly and we got to enjoy and nice quiet lunch. I am very happy that they serve cream soda!

The menu is huge. If you want -something- it's probably there. They really need to concentrate on one thing to be good at it. For Lunch, I ordered an endless soup and salad combo. The soup I ordered was the Chicken Tortilla soup, the way it was delivered was interesting. A big bowl, with a few scraps of avacodo, little bits of chicken and tortillas, and the broth was added at the table. It was a nice presentation, but the only thing was, with the bowl being so large, the soup cooled off -very- quickly. And the Ceaser salad was way over dressed. Our waitress was very friendly and accomodating. :)

Love BJ's! If I lived closer I'd probably be here all the time! Always amazing and attentive service at the bar. The beers on tap are of a wide variety and not one o have tried is bad. The pizza is TO DIE for!!! My favorite is the hand tossed or deep dish BJ's Favorite. The mini size is by far not mini and more than enough for one person.

Just had ribeye steak. Cooked perfectly and ask by server to cut steak when served to check if steak was cooked to my liking. Was perfect, house made rub is one of the best seasoning I ever tasted. Had the Tuscany tomato soup - also delicious. And this is coming from someone who makes their own from scratch. Servers we're very knowledgable of menu. Over all, you get the chance to eat here - do !!

Great choices of draft beers and ales. Plenty of big screens with games of all types. Food is average. Service at dinner can be good (although they gave us a beeper that didn't work), but some lunch orders were screwed up. Go for the sports bar and not the food.

Pretty good, as chains go. I love their baked potatos, and they're big enough for two meals. Of course, the pizookies are why this place is so popular. They are Ah-may-zing! Service is okay, the wait staff aren't always together.

This used to be my favorite restaurant years ago. We just had some friends visit and decided to see how it is nowadays. There were 6 of us and all of our meals were excellent. We had the crispy artichokes for an appetizer and they did not disappoint. My husband loved his jambalaya, very spicy! I had the Parmesan crusted chicken and it is still out of this world! 2 of our friends had burgers and they were amazing as well. Oh and their berry cider is incredible!! Only downsides: the music is a bit too loud and service is a little slow, but friendly nonetheless. Will definitely be back again soon.

This is one of those "jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none" type restaurants. Nothing here is terrible, yet nothing is mind-blowing, slap-yo-momma good. If you want decent micro brew, edible burgers, pasta dishes, pizza, ribs, etc., this is the place to be. I've been 3 or 4 times because of the menu variety, and there is something for everyone. So now matter how picky the people in your party are, everyone should be pleased. Best thing on the menu? The pazooki desserts. As for service, it's consistently good.

I've always been a fan of Bj's menu, especially their salads. My go to has always been the BBQ chicken salad. This one is different than most...they put tiny bits of jicama in it. I'm not 100% sure what jicama is except that its a type of root vegetable. It gives it a nice crisp texture-I love it. My latest trip to BJ's was for take out and I utilized their curb side Togo which was nice. There are 2 spots by the front that are available for curbside. Since my New Years resolution is to eat healthier when available, I decided to skip my go to (it has ranch dressing and crispy union straws) and I tried a salad off their new "enlightened" menu-basically everything is less than 575 calories. I ordered the thai mango salad. What a great choice-light, fresh and topped with a little avocado. The best part-it also had jicama in it ;)

My business partner and I had lunch here today, and it was a nice place to sit and chat while watching all of the football highlights from the weekend. BJ's is located inside Citrus Park Mall, right near the front entrance and opposite Red Robin (Yummmm!). We had some client reports to finish, otherwise we would have likely enjoyed a sampler of their craft beer. Instead I went with an iced tea, but made a note to come back next time for a beer. The menu is loaded with the standard mall pub grub, but I did see some nice lower calorie selections, and a lot of soup & salad options. There's the usual flatbreads, pizzas, salads, soups, appetizers, sammies, burgers, wraps, and so on. I had the lunch-portion teriyaki shrimp stir fry over rice and it was quite good, and only 245 calories. The stir fry was made with grilled shrimp, sautéed with onions, red peppers, cabbage, green onions and baby carrots tossed with teriyaki sauce and served over sticky white rice topped with sesame seeds. Lots of interesting options for another visit.

Make sure to stop by during football - half off appetizers. Win/Win! A large menu for the whole family with tons of TV's to watch the game for about every team. Whatever you decide on for your entree, the tortilla soup is a must-try. The presentation itself will wow you. What else goes well with football? Beer. Half of the menu is beer to choose from. But make sure you save room for dessert....you'll need it after your team loses if you stay until the end of the game.

We ordered a deep dish pizza. The menu and website says deep dish pizza. The pic on the website looks like a real deep dish pizza, but it turned out to just be a normal pan pizza....nowhere near the thickness of a deep dish pizza and most of it's thickness was dough with little cheese/sauce. Because of this blatant lie I have to give it a one star. Even though it was good quality and taste, it was overpriced even for a quality pizza joint.

I'll say this first: I'm a beer snob. BJ's beers are just plain not very good. They're one step above your mass produced varieties, but nowhere near as good as a true craft brewery. BUT, they typically have at least one or two good guest taps. On this particular day, the bartender, nor another employee, could tell me what the 7venth Sun beer was on tap. Just 'it's an IPA'. OK. The brewery makes lots of varieties of those. And they seemed non-plussed that they didn't know. You are a beer bar. If you're going to have guest taps, maybe your bartenders should know what they are. Then my receipt had a completely different beer on it. Maybe I shouldn't have expected more at a chain restaurant/brewhouse in a mall. They have great food. That's why I gave three stars, else it would be less. Their beers are mediocre at best (IMHO), and I guess they can't even be bothered to care what else they're serving on draft. Again... You're a 'brewhouse'...that might be important.

We typically don't do sit down dinners with the kids, but we were wanting something other than our usual food court take-out, so we stopped for a quick bite on our way out of the mall. The staff was extremely helpful in seating us in a semi-private area so we would not bother patrons with our rambunctious child. I was in the mood for a salad so I ordered the BBQ Chicken Salad. This salad is jam packed with ingredients -which I love. It makes me feel like I'm eating more than just a "salad." The dressing was plentiful and the lettuce and vegetables were fresh and crisp. The chicken was hot and diced into small bite size pieces. Thanks to my husband holding our daughter, I was actually able to clear my plate (it's not easy juggling a child and eating a salad with lots of little pieces) The staff is always friendly and very helpful and the ambiance is loud and fun like a Brewhouse should be. This would definitely be a perfect place for a couple pals watching a game or catching up with the girlfriends. I haven't tried the beer, but I've heard remarkable things about the samplers.

I had lunch here today and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought this place was just another faux brewery house with bar food, but I was totally wrong. The beers have very cheesy and corny names which didn't make me feel like trying anything, but it was lunch on a weekday, so I really couldn't anyway. After reading the Cheesecake Factory sized menu, I decided on one of my goto's which is Chicken Parm. I ordered the lunch special which was $12 I think and it comes with a soup or salad. I chose the chicken tortilla soup and was surprised to get a whole bowl of it. I also ordered thai chicken wontons because they were only $3. Those were also delicious like the soup. The entree was big for a lunch special and the chicken parm was crispy and juicy. The marinara was spicy and the spaghetti was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and my drink never got less than half full. You get a lot of bang for your buck here and low prices are not indicative of low quality as they are in other places. This is great food at a great value.

I have always enjoyed the bar, love being able to watch many sports and eat great food. Normally a lunchtime haunt for me, I love the fact that I can get a baked potoato as a main course. That is so british. My app of choice are the avocado rolls, tasty, great to share and always out quick for that quick lunch. Main courses I enjoy the lunches and also the salads. What has impressed me the most is however the manager at this location. After my last visit I received an email asking me to do a survey, which given in had a few free moments I did. To my suprised I received and email from the manager today asking why I rated something only 4 out of 10. To my horror I must have fat finger ed the survey. Everything was 9 or 10 for me. The manager reads these surveys and emailed me to follow up what the problem and what could he do to improve the restaurant. Of course I apologized for my fat fingers giving the wrong impression. Maybe less avocado rolls will help my fingers be less fat!!!! But I have respect for a manager who steps up like. Can't wait to go back again now.

I go to Citrus Park once a week but have never tried BJ's. My mom was in town and we did some shopping and decided to sit down and have a drink and walked into BJs right when they opened around 11am on a Monday. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly. Mom got a pinot grigio and I got the house brewed hefeweizen draft. It was really good-but $5.25 for a beer always chaps my @$$...guess that's pretty standard. For lunch, mom ordered the veggie burger (would never eat that so I didn't taste it) and I ordered the Caesar salad with the shrimp tacos. I will dream about those shrimp tacos! There are 2, they are stuffed full but not so full you get all messy. Comes with chips, salsa and 'avocado cream' on the side which is basically a less thick version of guacamole. Very delicious and not too filling so you don't feel like a cow trying on clothes afterwards. Will definitely go back again for a draft and those shrimp tacos!

I actually try and avoid most chains, and reviews of chains, but BJ's Brewhouse, I like! The menu has your typical bar grub, but also a bit nicer dishes, as well. I love that there are TVs all around, but not in an annoying manner, if that makes sense. Their pizzas are good, as are their specialty entrees, and for whatever reason I love their turkey burger. I love the Berry Burst Cider. While I can't say the same for other BJ's locations I have been to, I can say at the Citrus Park spot, I find the service to always be great.

Parmesan crusted chicken is excellent; thinly sliced breast meat with both melted Parmesan and grated Parmesan. Thai wontons are also very good. Would definitely come here again. I found the service much above average.

My fiance and I went here for the crispy jalapeno burger. We got seated reasonably quick despite it being a Friday night. All was good until our server, four minutes after our food was brought out, and while I was literally holding and eating my burger, starts handling my plate suggesting that we get a to go box. Excuse me?! I was under the impression that holding my food and consuming it would be a pretty solid indicator that I am in no way finished and needing to get out. Manager: is this something you encourage to flip tables quicker? If so, this practice sucks and is rude. If not, your staff needs to stop rushing your paying patrons out so they can get another tip. Four thumbs down. We will not be returning.

Although I frequent the Citrus Park Mall, my culinary choices are mostly restricted to food court fast food as I usually need to get in and out quick. Once in a while I'll stop in at BJ's, especially if I'm in the mood to be naughty. First off, it has the word "brewhouse" in the name, so if you're not into beer, you should maybe go elsewhere. Just sayin. The beer sampler is AWESOME. A little bit of everything. Some beers are good, others yucky. Nice to try them all and try to nail down the differences. Skip the avocado egg rolls. A bit band and noneventful. The nachos are meh. But the bacon cheeseburger pizza is TO DIE FOR! Literally and figuratively. It even comes with tiny pieces of pickels. I don't recall having such a sinful delicious pizza since the Pizzeria Uno days. Ambiance is busy but clean, service was competent. If you are at the mall and want a sit down dinner, BJs is good. Order the bacon cheeseburger pizza. Your arteries will hate you.

This is a great restaurant with something for everyone! I've been here several times over the last few years, sometimes with a group (it's a great place for a group) and never heard anyone complain. The drink menu is amazing too with a great beer and wine menu. I wouldn't suggest BJs for a date night, the big TVs by the bar can easily be a distraction for most men :-).

Grossed out. Being someone that loves good beer I decided to hang at the bar while my family shopped. The beer was good until a bartender followed a customers requested. He was drinking Stella , & she asked if he'd like another. He said yes & " you can use the same glass." She grabbed his glass with his last spit hit on it. & proceeded to fill it. As the beer got to the top she put the full tap in his glass. Would have been fine with a new glass but with a used one , YUK ! I now wonder how many other beers get other peoples backwash in them. At $6 a beer you'd expect a clean pour. Never coming back.

There are very few places that I would want to be a regular. This is my place. My fiance and I started going to the one in Pinellas Park when we were first going out and I took him there for his birthday. When we moved in together, we started going to this location all the time. We just love this place. The service at this location is hit or miss but only once has it been terrible. The atmosphere is sports and beer with fully clothed male and female waitstaff. In other words, you can take the kids here and have a cold one. The huge screens are for ESPN, ESPN Classic, ESPN 8 "the ocho", etc... Beer is also a highlight of this place. It's a "brewhouse" after all. The drink menu is extensive but so far I have fallen in love with the Berry Burst Cider and the Double Berry. My fiance enjoys the Black Velvet most of the time. We have tried a few other drinks but those seem to be what we like the best. After so many visits, it's hard to be objective about the food because I've had so many things on the menu. Appetizers we enjoy are the calamari, crispy wantons (buffalo and thai), and the potato skins. The potato skins are double fried so they aren't my favorite. Hands down my favorite entree is the jambalaya. Finally it's a dish with sausage I can eat! It's so perfect with the spices they use. It is a hot dish so if you hate spicy, this is not for you. Another great dish is the balsamic glazed chicken. There have been times the chicken was too dry but when the chicken is just right, it's perfect. I also love the crispy onion strings. So tasty! Desserts are the best here. You can't go wrong with a pizzoki but a real hidden gem is the baked beignet. It's perfection- crisp beignet with ice cream, strawberry syrup, and whipped cream. It's so light and delicious you'll want more than one. It's a great place and it's highly recommended.

Some of the other reviews site bad service for not giving 5 stars. Yes, the service is hit or miss, but for the most part, it's never been a huge issue for us. But because we ALWAYS love the food, BJs gets 5 stars from me! Yummy.

I specifically told the hostess that the table she was trying to sit us at was still dirty. She had to check if it was ok to give me the next table over?? After all that they never went back to clean the other table & sat 2 women. I mentioned something to the 2 patrons & they had to ask to have it cleaned. Jaclyn AKA Jackie was very nice!

I hope BJ's Owners read Yelp!!! I have been a regular at BJ's for a while (at least once per week). The food is great and the service use to be. Over the last 2-3 months service has declined a lot. We pretty much order the same meals every time we are there. The last few time we have been there we have had to tell the server the price is wrong. The services has slowed and the servers act as though they hate their jobs. We now will only sit in Jackie, Josh, or Dara's section, otherwise you don't know what you will get. I hope to see improvement soon, because we really enjoy the food and "Some" of the servers.

I visited this place on NYE 2012, a good friend flew in late from JFK ( late of course typical JFK bs) She was starved and it was her first time in Tampa and on top of it our options were dwindling as the clock ticked towards midnight. We figured we would just go to Red Robin , something simple and quick and satisfying after a long and drawn out day. As we got there we noticed BJs next door and they were open , looked alot nicer so we figured we would try them out. It was quite busy for NYE but ,fortunately we were seated right away. My good friend ordered a BJs Blondie beer and I ordered some tropical fruity cider beverage. The place is huge but also very cozy in a upscale atmosphere. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire dinner. We started with the typical Spinach and Artichoke dip which was not typical at all , it arrived with a multitude of colorful fresh tasting chips and very fresh spin on a app that has become so overplayed in recent years. My friend ordered the Roast Beef French Dip sandwich a favorite of her's. Her choice was good but nothing great. I ordered the Black and Bleu burger which was good and ample but below par compared to Burger 21 or Square 1. We opted out of dessert but the dinner was over all was good I would give it a B-, given the circumstances , the time and date it was a better alternative to our original choice and the beverages made the experience even better.

Been here a few times so this review is a compilation of all my experiences. I recently went back this past Friday with a few friends. Despite the fact that BJ's has an enormous menu, I generally order the same entree every time I go: the calzone for two with meatball and pepperoni. It is really fantastic and I usually finish the whole thing. BJ's also sports a large selection of their own brews and as I've heard most people say, their seasonal beers really standout. I do also have to give a thumbs up to there signature sodas, they offer a root beer, cream, orange cream, and black cherry soda that are leagues above store bought varieties. At this point you may be asking why I'm giving them three stars. Well, of the times I have been to this location, the service has been hit or miss. This past Friday night the service was great however there have been times in the past where my party waited for long periods of time for drink refills or for the waiter/waitress to return to the table to take orders, bring food etc. So it doesn't feel exactly right to rate them higher at this point.

I went here with friends after Christmas Shopping. I like the decor. Lots of Televisions so nice place to see sports. I am not a big beer drinker but they have a lot of craft beers to try so that was interesting. All I care about is that a beer taste good so this might be a place to try a new beer next time. We were here for the FOOD!!! I had the New England clam chowder in a bread bowl and the ultimate mac n cheese I think was the name. Both were delicious but like Abby said for us non-readers, I forgot to note it said something like CHIPOLTE which means it would be HOT!!! It was still great but it really did not need the chipolte!! I sample a little of Donna's tomato and mozzarella salad. It was delectable but small. However her stuffed baked potato looked like it was grown in a field next to a nuclear power plant. I am not kidding when i say it had to be 3 or 4 pounds!!! My eyes popped out of my head. Overall I think everyone was satisfied. A couple of times during dinner nobody was chatting which is a sign we were enjoying our food :)

Wow. What can I say? A restaurant that brings together great drinks, good atmosphere, and an impressive menu. Let me first say that this restaurant, at least on Friday and Saturday evenings, usually has a 30-45 minute wait, but they do offer call-ahead seating - take advantage of it! The first think you will be introduced to when you get seated (or approach the bar if you're waiting for a table) is the well thought out menu of beers crafted especially for this restaurant. There's a little of something for everyone- lighter beers, heavier beers- and even a seasonal beer fitting the appropriate time of year. The menu at BJ's has EVERYTHING. Literally. Pizza (wonderful), pasta dishes (excellent), chicken dishes (you gotta try the Parmesan crusted chicken), and more. Honestly, I have no idea how the kitchen keeps up with everything that folks order, but they do. I've been to this restaurant twice and have been very impressed with the skill our meals were prepared with. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the dessert menu - it's very heavy on baked good (ie. cookies) where I'd like to see some more creative items on the menu to match the rest of the offerings. There's gotta be a beer recipe or two that they could use. Overall, a very good choice for dinner, especially if you have a beer lover in the family. Just be sure to call ahead and put your name on the list in case they have a wait.

I really enjoy coming to this restaurant. It's nice enough to have a birthday dinner here, yet casual enough to have a simple lunch as well. The service here though can go both ways. They have amazing waiters, yet they also have not so nice ones. If you do have a problem with their staff, don't be afraid to ask for the manager. Their managers are very nice and will help in any way. BJ's has their own crafted beers. They also have a wide selection of their own drinks. I have had a few and haven't been disappointed in any. Their menu is huge, offering selections of pizzas, sandwiches, pastas, etc. The food is very yummy and cooked well. I haven't had a dish I didn't like. I highly recommend to save room for dessert. Their signature dessert is the pizookie. It''s a huge cookie that comes in a pie dish with ice cream and whipped cream. It is to die for! You can get different types of the cookie and most come with their homemade vanilla ice cream. I love it!

Horrible experience. Food was ok but the service and manager were terrible. Had to wait some time for our server who seemed to not know what she was doing or was intoxicated on some substance. After finishing and waiting for our check for 15-20 mins we ended up getting and paying for someone else's check. After waiting all that time I simply gave the waitress my card and didn't look over the check. My wife however did notice it once the waitress returned and let her know. She apologized and went to correct it and bring the proper check. We asked if she had voided the first transaction from our card and she claimed she had. So we paid again and left FINALLY. After checking my CC statement I noticed we had been charged for both checks. I called and spoke with the manager on the phone who apologized and said to bring in the statement and she would take care of it. So on my own time I returned and was greeted by a very unfriendly wench of a manager whos name now escapes me. She acted like she was doing me a favor and took forever to correct the matter. Watched her talking on her cell phone while she was supposed to be crediting my card. Worst manager Ive seen.

First I will state we are big fans of BJ's and have dined in many of their restaurants across the country....We were so happy when the one came to Citrus Park. One of the draws for us is the handcrafted beer, we especially like the Jeremiah Red. We stopped by Saturday around 4:30 for an appetizer and a beer after shopping. The restaurant was slow preparing for the dinner crowd as there were a lot of servers standing around doing nothing. The beer and food was as usual and expected...what was disappointing for us was the service and cleanliness of the restaurant...It started when I used the brass hand rail and my hand stuck to the rail, then we were seated at a booth that my wife hand to wipe the seat.....I put my elbows on the table (bad manners) and the table was so sticky they stuck....wait...then I open the menu and there is food smeared all over it....makes me really wonder what the kitchen looks like these days. There were two male managers working the floor and they obviously had some type of disagreement happening which created a stressful vibe in the place. It seems the current management is not up to BJ's standards as this is the worst we have seen it in years. Hopefully corporate will show up and clean the place up.

I have never had a bad experience at BJ's. Although a bit pricey they have good food with lots of different options on the menu. Of course their beer selection is the best part!

Let me first say that we have gone to this BJs for several years now. The beer is always good and the food has been OK. The quality of the food has gradually gone down hill until I finally had my first 'I can't eat this' experience. I love food and when I am really hungry (like I was today) I am not even that picky. I ordered their 'new' Bison burger cooked medium. The server said 'good choice'. Clearly this guy has never eaten this piece of crap. I love Bison burgers but I know the food here is never that great so I didn't even have super high expectations and like I said, I was starving!!! It comes out and here is the breakdown: (1) the burger is a tiny burger on a HUGE bun with a HUGE piece of lettuce, took me about 5 bites to even hit the crappy burger (2) 2 bites in to actual burger and I have to pull a sharp, hard piece of bone out of my mouth (3) the burger is an under-seasoned, greasy, and mushy piece of what had to be a previously frozen patty (4) I asked for it to be cooked medium but it was pretty much warm on the outside and raw mush on the inside I eat about 3 bites of actual burger and decide I can't continue. I don't think I have ever not eaten a meal at any other restaurant, it was that bad. The waiter asks if I want a to-go box and when I say 'No' he smiles like 'that good eh?' so I felt obligated to enlighten this idiot about the fact that this burger is so disgusting I can't eat any more of it.

My boyfriend suggested bj's so we could grab a bite to eat before a movie. I had never heard of it, but it seemed to have a decent rating so I agreed. I did get a tad annoyed at having to wait over 5 min for a hostess to greet us, but the service the rest of the time was good so no biggie. We ordered two items off of the "small bites" menu to start with, which is essentially a small one-person appetizer. We choose the buffalo & blue cheese crispy wontons and the bruschetta, both were delicious. Upon ordering a sandwich for my meal, I was told how gigantic they are so we split a bbq pulled pork sandwich with fries. Honestly, the pork was dry and I wasnt impressed. It seemed like it was missing something besides the pork, onion strings, and a toasted bun. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but given the appetizers and good atmosphere I would come back. Bj's also has a huge menu of craft beer but I dont like beer enough to pay 6$ for a glass, so I cant give an opinion on that. Overall, I think its a decent joint with a well rounded menu, they also cater and can take on parties of up to 100 people.

Food is always consistent and good, my favorite is the balsamic chicken but I have tried many other dishes and all are very tasty! great selection of beers and other drinks, large screen tvs which is great for those games you don't wanna miss.

Ordinarily I'd prefer to have a root canal than go to a mall. And I never figured I'd ever want to go to the mall just to eat...but this place isn't the horror show I usually expect. First of all, they have an extensive list of imported and craft beers and also a selection of preivate label draft brews of all different types. I don't believe they actually brew it themselves as they imply but wherever it's made, it is pretty good. I always order their "Pirhana" brew which is a hoppy drink like an IPA. The food is nothing very special but they do a real nice mini pizza. Ive had a few of them ranging from buffalo chicken too cheeseburger pie. The other nice thing is that when my wife wants to go shopping she can just drop me off at BJ's and I can sit at the bar while she shops and when she finally comes back with all her packages we can relax in a comfortably booth and have dinner. She calls it the "Husband Daycare Center" where you can drop off your mate and they will care for him while you shop. It's a free service--you only pay for his drinks!

We stopped by only to get dessert. We'd never been to any BJ's before and we came because my brother-in-law had points to redeem for a pizookie (pizza and cookie). The hostess took us to our seats and the server promptly got us our drinks. Unfortunately, my husband order a Red Buffalo that didn't have its layers. The server said she asked the bartender and he said it was because it was coming out of the tap thinner than usual. When the pizookie came out, it looked nothing like the picture, which was disappointing. We got it half Salted Caramel and half PB&J. When we scooped into it, it was so good. What we'd wanted after just having lunch at a different establishment. We might try BJ's again. Not sure if it will be the same location since we're from outta town.

I ate here about a year ago and it was pretty good, but today I was very disappointed. Service was slow, it took a long time to get the food out. We had the jambalaya, it was horrible! The plate was hog but the food was cold. It didn't matter that it was cold, as it was not edible. The rice was dry, no sauce, tasteless shrimp, chicken and sausage. We just left it. The other dish was the flatbread that was just ok. I will go back in the near future and give it another chance.

i'm a fan of this chain restaurant. The reason why is that of the Pizookie. They were amazing. But anyways I wanted to say that when i visited this placed again (coz i've haven't been back to this placed for almost a year.) I was kinda disappointed. I came here with friends for bday dinner but with all the great experience that I had at this place before they just went down. At first we decided to wait for one of our friend to arrive so we did not order yet. But when we figured that he is running late I decided to try there peach Margarita. And so the server checked my ID and did not even mention that it was my bday. no greeting or anything. at that point i got disappointed. if you are really checking DOB you should have noticed that the individual DOB is that day. Then we got hungry and our friend haven't arrived yet and so we ordered appetizers. The appetizers were great no doubt. so we told our server that we are doing the 2 for 25 dollars (comes with salad or soup, pizza and pizookie). I ordered the clam chowder soup, which is a lil bit salty, then we decided to order the Deep dish spicy hawaiian pizza, my friend notice that the pizza did not with chicken and so they have to make another one with the correct order and we ended up having 2 deep dish pizza, and then the pizookie (as always there were to die for). while we were eating my friend notice a lil friend on the floor (roach) and he took a picture of it. he tried to say something to the server but we can't get his attention. i have the photo of the lil friend if you want to see it. haha. all in all i was disappointed at the service. i was expecting better service especially coz it's my special day. 3 star because of the pizookie that i always love. message me if you have some question.
